Papaw Ointment

Study background

This study is researching if papaw ointment will help with irritation and dry skin for adults with mild skin conditions. The papaw ointment is already available over the counter but has not been assessed in a clinical trial. This research study will be examining 2 different skin conditions; insect bites and sunburn, to see how effective the ointment is.

Participants with insect bites or sunburn will need to apply to the target area for 10 days. Participants would also need to take photos each day of the target area to assess the skin condition healing over time.

Study Details

The study would require you to come in 2 times over 10 days, which will take up to 30 minutes for each visit. Over the course of the study, we would provide you with the papaw ointment and give you an app to put on your phone for you to take photos of the target area each day.
