COVID-19 Booster Vaccine
Study background
This is a research study looking for people aged over the 18 years of age to participate in a research study for a new mRNA COVID-19 vaccine looking to provide protection against COVID-19 infection. Due to the persisting COVID-19 pandemic, it is recommended that people receive at least one vaccine booster to remain protected against the COVID-19 virus.
This mRNA COVID-19 booster study is being conducted in response to the widespread need for COVID-19 booster vaccine. This study will evaluate whether this new COVID-19 booster vaccine will provide protection against COVID-19 infection. In the study, you will receive the new COVID-19 booster vaccine.
Study Details
The study will run over approximately a 6-month period and would require approximately 6 visits to the study site. Visits will range between 15 mins to an hour. Over the course of the study, we will check participant’s medical history, take blood samples and administer new COVID-19 Booster vaccine. The new COVID-19 booster vaccine will be administered at different dose levels. Participants will also be asked to record symptoms on an electronic diary for 7 days following the administration of the study vaccine.
You will be reimbursed for your time and involvement in the research study.
Eligibility criteria
- Aged over 18 years of age
- Has received two or more doses of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
- Has not had a positive COVID-19 test result in the last 6 months
- Is not immunocompromised
