COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine

Study background

On the 11th of March 2020, COVID-19 was declared as a global pandemic. Since then, almost every country of the world has experienced some form of lockdown and isolation to stop the spread of the disease. COVID-19 is an easily transmitted respiratory disease that can produce life-threatening symptoms.

This study is researching giving an investigational fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time as the flu vaccine to allow for more efficient immunization against the two conditions. In this study you will either receive the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine together or receive the two vaccines one month apart.

Study Details

The study would require you to come to the clinic 3 times over the 2 months. Visits will range between 15 mins to an hour each time you come in. Over the course of the study, we will check your medical history, draw blood, and will give injections one month apart. There will also be an e-diary that needs to be completed following the administration of the study vaccines for 7 days after each vaccination to monitor for any reactions.

You will be reimbursed for your time in the research study.
